All of the rides at the Hole in the Wall Stables guarantee amazing views of the San Juan Mountains with the Ponderosa Pines keeping you well shaded.  We operate under a priority use permit from the USDA Forest
Service (closest permit to Durango).  We also have use of private property that provides astounding views of The Animas River Gorge and Animas Valley by horseback. 

        The Hole In The Wall Stables has been in operation for over fifteen years, with gentle horses and experienced guides, you can count on an unforgettable experience. 

Reservations recommended for all rides, and required for 1/2 day, full day, rides.
